i never told or should i say "announced" to most of my friends that i'm gonna cosplay, except of course for those who read this blog. remember? animax carnival?

heheh.

since i was asked by these guys to cosplay as Shido Fuyuki, i came to meet for them at Jollibee's Katipunan Branch last saturday. blood, sweat and tears pulled me over to the said place. damn, it's so unaccessible to go to that place by not riding a taxi. eventually they texted me that their redezvous has been eventually moved to Ever Gotesco Commonwealth. another set of sweaty shirt and socks for me as i went to the place. there i met the peeps, made acquaintances with them and stuffs.

cosplay day came. i was told that the first 100 cosplayers are qualified to be judged, so they went to Glorietta as early as 7am. i went myself at 10am. my costume was well-prepared should i say, and i met the other guys: Shin as Ban, Alvin as Ginji, the kids whom i'm so sorry to forget their names again, and my buddy Popoi as the bloody joker himself. bagay! Shido and Emishi... Me and Poi... hahah.

tried the vest, a bit tight and short. my shoulder length was, well, they didn't estimate, the wristbands ala Jinggoy, the headband, and the hair... oh, did i just said hair?! i was one helluva short-haired Shido. we were a good group par se, complete minus Hevn and Juubei... but due to circumstances they never showed up.

the modeling part. btw, i like my number. 60. we were planning a skit but the volunteers said we'll be modeling for a short of 5 seconds as the next contestant came. that was fast... no, REALLY fast.

we came losing. bleh. slim chance.

as the kind-of-a-disappointment has to subside, we make tambay to Timezone G4 beside Starbucks. galing pala nilang mag-Drummania. as the clock ticks people came in. aside from the people i saw earlier in the event, upstairs came Benjo, Nico, and even Larah who came all the way from Olongapo, Berto, Mark aka TheRealRods, Yoj, Kez, Pao and Tonet, Maui, Rets, R.G. and his bud Mark, Carlo Bading, Ogie, and his friend the other Carlo, Jay, Sarah Twinny, Red, Mike Touya, Dainty, Bea, Hades, Ate Alnee, Dan, etc etc. dami no?

as my cosplay group left they said they will never forget that moment of us together. masaya daw kasi. and besides, they had fun. i even had.

i decided to wait for kuya leo, which is a volunteer, and leave the place. my legs were in great pain due to fatigue. then i saw neil, billy, and the guys at the fountain area. eventually, louanne, nicole and i went home. kami ni louanne nakisabay na with marga's cabbie that will take her home in manda. swerte. so i went to the nearby convenient store and bought a prepaid card.

i came home along with me an Animax Getbackers poster, a couple painful legs, and a happy experience.

wow. my second character cosplay. i wonder what comes next?

it's holy wednesday. started my day helping to arrange the life-size Christ of our Kalbaryo. literally, pinako ko si Jesus sa Krus. wala kasing matangkad eh, nde nila abot. in the evening i was with the 3-hour long Procession of the Cross. nasira pa rubber shoes ko. gademet. --;

okay. started the day cleaning the house while my bro is watching The Passion of Christ on vcd, then the two jj's came by 3pm. shortly after Benjo and Gerard came and finally Louanne to wrap up today's visitors. lumibot kami sa buooooong barangay just to show them how nice it is in our place in time for holy week. napagod ako, sila hindi. ewan ko ba. bigat ata ng kasalanan ko eh. --;

3pm. Jesus is dead. what i did? since ako ang isa sa pinakamatangkad na guy doon sa chapel namin, isa ako sa nagbaba sa kanya to lie him to a bed.

while waiting for the procession, louanne came my place to join the whole family. we were waiting for gerard, nico, and benjo... si nico asa Pampanga pa. si gerard ata nde pinayagan. si benjo biglang tinamad. oh well...

so lakad lakad lakad kami, sumabay na kami sa karo ni San Pedro at tinapos namin ang buong prusisyon after 3 hours. fascinated si louanne sa pinapakitang sakripisyo ng mga tao dito sa lugar namin. actually, before the procession came to end, benjo arrived. kaya sarcastically saying, "pinagpala ka ng Diyos sa sakripisyo mong ipinakita."

everything ended with a bowl of Misua with puto for each of us. then we went to kuya leo's place to visit him. ngayon pahinga na ako at napagod ako ng husto.

jeez. some people really are lucky kasi biglang yaman sila. yan ang nakikita ko kay William Hung aka Hong Kong Ricky Martin. btw, this is not a hate blog. i dont hate Will (as they call him) he has a charisma! first time na nakita ko si Will sa American Idol natawa na lang ako pero nde ko lubos maisip na isa sya sa mga papalarin.

ilang araw ko nang iniisip ito. since the band Disarm is having difficulties in getting together, even in just plain practises, i was thinking to cool the band off or even worse, abadon it. yun eh kung papayag lang yung ibang ka-members ko.

i was thinking of having another band with each members na hindi masyadong busy or wala naman silang ibang band na member sila. nangyayari kasi na dilemma ng session band na bigyan ng priority ang of course yung major band nila.

pero nde naman masama ang loob ko. i was expecting this though.

ang tanong ko naman sino kaya ang available na magiging ka-band members ko if ever.

i think i'll just have to talk to my friend Popoi for this. yung tipong papayag ba sila na isasabak ko sila sa j-den group of bands.

iba na talaga kung nakakapit na ang passion for music na sa iyo. hangga't maari gusto mong tumugtog o kumanta.

*sigh*

i got my layout reconstructed. may nagreklamo kasi sa akin *points at the tag board* na ambagal ng loading time ng blog ko. maybe because of the graphics. kaya i did what i had to do kaya... VOILA! it's nice and new!

btw, went grocery kanina sa Powerplant Mall with kuya and his gf. i saw Eric Quizon back and forth.... and back again. siguro he can't find what he's looking for. and then nalaman ko na mayroon siyang condo unit sa isa sa mga buidings ng Rockwell Center. mahal kaya nun. after that i saw two stars Mike Hrabak and Rob Wainwright both from the PBA team Shell waking a floor above us.

talas ng mata ko basta stars. :p

summer time. summer time.

sunday was a blast. altough i thought na ang outing namin eh sa Malolos, Bulacan but it was moved to Dasmarinas, Cavite. we had fun, my cousins, my siblings, my uncles, aunts, some of our neighbors... it was fun.

highlight of the day nag-mataya-taya kami kaming magpipinsan sa pool na pinakamalalim is 5 feet. hiningal kami dun sa laro na yun. should i say my weekend was that refreshing. :D

maiba ng usapan. weareanime.com is having interest in joining once again in the upcoming Anime Sports Fest this summer. i was a player last year, this year i'll be coaching them. so i'm trying to summon the former players, with the help of my buds ej and arthur and who are having interest in joining the team.

sana mabuo yung team by weekend. para no problemo na kami. :D

at last i saw the last few of Wolf's Rain... AND IT CREEPS ME TO HELL! too much angst... but i love it. :D

kaya pala malungkot and dark ika nga ni Kuma Leo ang Wol'f Rain kasi namatay ang mga characters isa-isa, naiwan syempre ang main protagonist syempre. pero the ending is a happy one, uh.. nabuhay din silang mga wolves.

now to discuss, why i like tsume better than the rest of them. matagl na akong mahilig sa mga kick-ass anime characters although i like the happy-go-lucky/comic relief characters better. Tsume reminds me of a fusion between Sanosuke Sagara and Roronoa Zoro, both of which are some my favorite anime characters. kay Tsume nakita ko ang leadership sa isang gang and how he handle stuffs. in comparison to me i've always been a class officer since elementary til i graduated high school. in college naman i've always been the leader of the group in making projects and reports. now i'm handling the coaching job for the WAA team in ASF this year sakaling matuloy.

i was born a Leo, and Leos are born leaders.

siguro ganun na nga yun.
